Special and oversized item moving in Budapest

With safes and other heavy items, the biggest risks are floor loading and moving on stairs: weight that is poorly distributed can damage flooring or cause an accident. For these, we use stair-climbing equipment and lifting gear rated to the load.

Large mirrors and glass surfaces are prone to cracking from any impact, so we always build a custom crate sized to the piece, with internal bracing that stops movement in transit. Each item type gets its own method and equipment, based on weight, size and fragility.

For sculptures and irregularly shaped objects, a standard box offers no real protection, so we build a cradle or stand fitted to the piece, accounting for its centre of gravity and contact points to hold it securely. Every solution here is designed individually.

Moving a jacuzzi or sauna always starts with disconnection: water and electrical connections are undone, the water is drained, and the move is then planned around tight access points. We plan this step by step around the conditions on site, and reinstallation at the new location is available on request.

When an item size exceeds what a stairwell or entrance can handle, a conventional move is simply not an option. In these cases we arrange craning or hoisting through a window or balcony, following an on-site survey beforehand, so we know exactly what equipment and permits are needed.

Every stage of the process is covered by insurance, and the fixed price is set after the on-site survey, once we know the item and the access involved, to avoid surprises later. This attention to detail is what separates special moving from a routine one.
